✨ What We’re Looking For: Skills and Qualifications ✨

We are looking for the following key qualifications in our ideal Yacht Designer candidate joining our team:

🎓 Education & Experience:

• Graduation from universities in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Industrial Design, Architecture, or related technical/design fields.
• Proven professional experience of at least 5 years in yacht design (including concept development, exterior styling, interior design, and 3D modeling).

💻 Technical Proficiencies:

• Advanced proficiency in 3D Modeling software (especially Rhino is preferred) and Visualization (Rendering) programs.
• Good command of 2D CAD (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Good general knowledge of yacht systems (machinery, electrical, plumbing, etc.) and their layout requirements.
• Knowledge of materials, production techniques, and current maritime standards/regulations.

🎨 Design Skills & Understanding:

• Ability to successfully balance a strong aesthetic vision with technical feasibility (hydrodynamics, stability, structural basics, system integration).
• Proficiency in applying ergonomics principles to design.
• Advanced creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

👤 Personal Attributes:

• A detail-oriented, meticulous, and responsible work ethic with a proactive, results-oriented approach.
• Strong communication skills and a team player attitude.
• Good command of English (sufficient for understanding technical documents and preferably for communication).

** portfolio️ Essential:**

• A strong and comprehensive portfolio showcasing previous work is mandatory (including examples of concept, 3D modeling, visualization, and preferably technical drawings).

➕ Preferred Qualification (Bonus):

• Prior experience in refit or conversion projects for existing yachts.
